Motorola and Verizon Wireless officially announces the Droid Pro and Motorola Citrus Posted: 05 Oct 2010 06:34 PM PDT Motorola and Verizon are a very good partners, and they have launched a lot of devices together, and today they are going to add 2 more device in their list, which will make their relationship more stronger. Today, Verizon and Motorola officially announced the Motorola Droid Pro, and Motorola Citrus. We heard about the Droid Pro a few times, and I was actually expecting that the device will be better than the Droid X, but Droid X is still better. Motorola Droid Pro comes with Android 2.2, 1GHz processor, a 5 megapixel camera, portrait QWERTY keyboard, 3.1-Inch display, and a dual-band CDMA/GSM chip for global roaming. We will see the Droid Pro in the first week of November. Motorola Citrus is an entry level Android Device, and this phone is not a part of Droid Family. All we know is that the device is running Android 2.1 with MotoBlur. You can expect a cheap price tag on the Citrus, like $100 or $150. Engadget already got their hands on the Droid pro, so check out the photos after the break. via BGR Motorola and Verizon Wireless officially announces the Droid Pro and Motorola Citrus ©, . Samsung Transform user guide leaked, a mid-range Android powered phone Posted: 05 Oct 2010 04:20 PM PDT A few days ago, we saw the first shot of the Samsung Transform. We heard that the Samsung Transform is a keyboard-less version of EPIC 4G (read our review), but it was wrong. The User Guide of the Samsung Transform has been leaked which is showing that the Transform comes with a QWERTY keyboard, so what I think is that the Samsung Transform is an affordable version of EPIC 4G, and it doesn’t comes with 4G, that could be possible. As we can see in the image above, the Samsung Transform is running Android 2.2 without TouchWiz, which means that we will see Stock Android UI on the Transform. The phone features a 3-megapixel camera, and a front facing too, and it’s hard to expect a front-facing camera on a mid-range phone, but you have it on Transform. Want to know more about the Transform?, then check out the PDF File. Samsung Transform user guide leaked, a mid-range Android powered phone ©, . Similar Posts: |

Dell Streak in India , Hands on Photos and Video Posted: 05 Oct 2010 08:06 AM PDT We were at the Dell Press Conference in Bangalore this morning where the company launched it’s Android device the Streak. This is the first time the computer maker is launching a mobile phone in India Dell, I've used lots of Dell products and i've to say that I am a BIG fan of their products Build quality, and service. Dell Streak was in buzz from Quiet a long time i’d say its because of Android and impressive Specs what Streak has in house. So what does this tablet offer you? Yes u, got a mobile device that offers tons of flexibility thanks to Android again. The Dell Streak brings together a great web browsing experience, multi-tasking capability, slick turn by turn navigation and a great way to enjoy your photos, movies and music into a sleek device that’s built for mobility. The Dell Streak is a hybrid device that lives in the space between a smartphone and other larger tablets or netbooks that exists. Its greatly designed , weighs less, the whole device is a lot sleeker 10mm, dude that’s super slim. Also we got to know something new that, Dell Streak will ship with cushions made from bamboo. So what was a bummer with the device? Android 1.6, yes it runs on Outdated Android 1.6 (i'd say, but it still does the job). So good people at the Dell launch event told us that it'll be getting Android 2.2 update via over-the-air updates later this year, it includes Adoble Flash 10.1, plus other enhancements like video chat applications and more. So was the device fun to use? Device is fun to use as a tablet in areas like like browsing the web, playing games or watching video. Because it’s made with Gorilla Glass the screen also has a pretty big durability advantage over more fragile mobile devices. Dell Streak also offers all kinds of Dell Streak accessories like a car dock kit, battery replacements, a home AV dock and more. PS : Also u can make calls! Hardware-wise, the Dell Streak features : • A 5-inch capacitive multi-touch WVGA (800x480) with Gorilla Glass.
Here is a short video overview of the device.

Posted: 05 Oct 2010 06:07 AM PDT This is a dual-touchscreen prototype phone that Fujitsu unveiled at CEATEC 2010. It is a design concept. A clamshell phone with two-touchscreens instead of one touchscreen and a keypad. The phone flips open both vertically and horizontally. The design and concept is very interesting and the phone is pretty well built. The phone looks very futuristic like from a Sci-Fi movie. The only problem is that it is meant only for the Japanese market and that it runs on their own primitive OS. Android would have been great even though it would be very tough to embed it. The two screens would make it a great experience for web browsing as well as movie viewing. via AkihabaraNews Similar Posts:
