Since Amazon launched its famous e-book reader Kindle, a lot of various tech companies presented their own e-book readers, some better than Kindle, some probably not.

The K60 is one of those devices you will most likely want to have with you.

The e-book reader manufactured by BenQ features a photovoltaic panel on the external surface that supplies the gadget with additional power.

The company mentioned that its new e-book reader will be lunched sometime in 2011.

Recently visitors of the 2010 Global Distributors' Meeting were able to witness the new solar-powered device.

BenQ's K60 will feature a 6-inch e-ink display and boast a 2GB of internal memory, which the user will be able to extend, and 3G.

The e-book reader will also have a slot for microSD card.

So far there's no additional information of the gadget. It was said that BenQ has also presented its solar-powered notebook.
