As you might know, India, and world at large, is facing a significant talent shortage in the Infrastructure Management space. Cisco, global leaders in Networking and Infrastructure Management and NIIT have entered into an alliance to develop and enhance the IT infrastructure management talent pool in the Asia Pacific region.

As part of the agreement, NIIT is offering training programs on Cisco’s latest tools and technologies in the Networking and Infrastructure Management space. NIIT will provide training on Cisco’s authorized curriculum and enable Cisco certification for students aspiring to build careers as networking professionals and system engineers. The partnership is in line with Cisco’s aim to expand India’s networking workforce capacity to 360,000 engineers in the next five years, a six-fold increase over present employment levels.
