Talk Nerdy to Me
While they certainly aren't appreciated by many people, spam e-mails are an art form. In each message, bold strokes of artistic license are applied not only to the text, but also to the grammar and punctuation. Our own in-house poetry analyst (and senior copy editor) Steven Gray spent the last year archiving, parsing, and reverse-engineering a nonstop onslaught of spam messages. Now, he gets to make fun of them.

PCWorld Reviewers' Favorite Files: August 2010August is a good month for get-togethers, and for getting things together. PCWorld's reviewers felt the lure of file management utilities, PIMs, and spam blockers. One-trick ponies with one really slick trick--checking Gmail, converting files, or alerting us to Google's ever-vigilant eye--also impressed us. As always, we'd love to see your take on these programs in their User Reviews.
