iPhone 4 vs Nokia N8 Camera Comparison – Round 1 Posted: 17 Oct 2010 02:09 PM PDT The Nokia N8 is one of the most powerful camera phones in the market and it features a 12 MP Camera with Carl Zeiss optics and a powerful Xenon Flash. The Apple iPhone 4 finally has a pretty impressive 5 MP camera with a really fast shutter and a LED Flash. Here is the iPhone 4 vs Nokia N8 Camera Comparison – Round 1 where we took both these phones to click pics during the weekend. All photos were taken in Auto modes with Flash turned off unless indicated below. We had also disabled HDR photos on the iPhone 4. We have downsized the photos from both the phones to 288x215px for the iPhone 4 and 287x215px for the Nokia N8 and the images have not been edited and are presented as is.We have also not watermarked the images below as they may introduce some quality issues. You can download the fullsize untouched images of both the phone at the end of the post.
iPhone 4 Full Size Pics [19 MB] Nokia N8 Full Size Pics [17 MB] The purpose of Round 1 was to see how these phones perform in low light condition with and without flash. The Xenon Flash on the Nokia N8 beats the iPhone 4 LED Flash hands down. Some of the iPhone 4 photos seem over-saturated and over-exposed and tend to deviate from the real colors. The Nokia N8 photos have more detail in them and closer to real colors. In some conditions which had a lot of bright light sources, the iPhone 4 handled the situation very well. We found it easier to click pics on the Nokia N8 with a 2 stage Camera key as the iPhone4 lacks a Camera key.The Camera app on the N8 has a lot of settings while the iPhone 4 offers zero or very little customization. Now that you have seen the pics from both the Camera Phones. Vote for your pick below Similar Posts:

If rumours are to be believed the next major release after Gingerbread 3.0 ie 4.0 will be called ‘”Ice Cream”. This news comes not from Google but from the President of ARM Tudor Brown who told Forbes that “Ice Cream” will the name when the lettering of the alphabet reaches “I”. The naming is sure but we are still not sure whether it will be their next major release. Let’s wait and watch. via SlashGear Similar Posts:
The LG Optimus GT540 Unboxing and Picture Gallery Posted: 16 Oct 2010 06:03 AM PDT A few days back, when the world was buzzing all about the impending launch of the Nokia N8, we received a small package from LG -- India, in it, a phone (of course a phone silly! you don’t expect a microwave oven review here!), the GT540 also known as the Optimus. This phone bears no resemblance to the Transformers protagonist -- Optimus Prime. So we decided to review the phone despite the fact that you will be busy reading N8 and it’s features. So without wasting time here’s the unboxing of the LG GT aka Optimus.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=aa7G21WN2kE While the unboxing video was being put up, we realized that the only way for you to get a good view of the device would be via a gallery, so we even added a gallery. Here’s a ‘small’ gallery of pics - Stay tuned as we bring you a complete review of the GT540. Similar Posts:

Sony Ericsson to Release Windows 7 Phones in 2011 Posted: 16 Oct 2010 01:38 AM PDT Sony Ericsson have had great success ever since the launch of their Android powered phones before which they were slumping down on the sales.A source claims that CEO Brt Nordberg has confirmed that Sony Ericsson will also be joining the Windows 7 party by releasing their own handsets powered by Windows 7. At present there is at least one handset if not more planned out for release. It is a good thing that they decided to join in since other major players like Samsung, HTC, LG and even Dell have joined in. If they don’t join in they will lose sales. This is just a rumour and only time will tell what Sony Ericsson has decided. via SlashGear Similar Posts:
