Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc is official , will be launched in select markets worldwide

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA ARC which was leaked yesterday was finally made official at CES in Las Vegas. The handset is powered by Android 2.3 operating system and features a sexy Arc design which is just 8.7mm at the thinnest portion.The ARC sports a 4.2 inch display featuring a Mobile Bravia engine. The phone packs a 8.1 MP Camera with HD Video recording and uses Sony's Exmor R mobile sensor.You can beam them to your TV using the built in HDMI port. "We're starting strong in 2011 by introducing our most exciting Xperia™ product yet. Xperia™ arc combines state-of-the-art Sony technology with breathtaking design to entertain and wow consumers. All on the latest Android™ release." said Bert Nordberg, President, Sony Ericsson The phone will be available worldwide in select markets including Japan in Q1 2011 in 2 colors Midnight Blue and Misty Silver. Price has not been revealed.

T-Mobile and LG announce T-Mobile G-Slate Android HoneyComb Tablet

Today at CES 2011, T-Mobile USA  and LG Mobile Phones announced T-Mobile G-Slate which is the upcoming 4G Android Honeycomb tablet for T-Mobile from LG "T-Mobile is proud to add a new milestone in the evolution of the Android platform with our first 4G tablet powered by Android 3.0," said Cole Brodman, chief marketing officer, T-Mobile USA. "The T-Mobile G-Slate with Google will build on our rich history of Android innovation and leadership and deliver deep integration with Google services." "LG is dedicated to continuing its role as an innovation leader and is thrilled to announce its entry into the tablet marketplace with the G-Slate," said Jeff Hwang, president of LG Mobile Phones. "Streamlining everyday tasks and enhancing entertainment with blazing fast 4G speed, the T-Mobile G-Slate by LG will deliver the latest in Android technology and provide users with an advanced tablet experience." Motorola will soon launch its Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) powered tablet at the CES 2011 in Las Vegas. This device was earlier known as the Motorola Droid Xoom, but Motorola accidentally revealed the device on their website, even before the press conference started. The Motorola's Honeycomb tablet will be called as the "Motorola Xoom" and not the rumored Motorola Droid Xoom. Along with the Xoom tablet, Motorola revealed a new device, which is also expected to launch today, at the event. This handset is called as the Motorola Droid Bionic. No details of this handset is currently available. But we can clearly see in the picture above, that the device sport a large touch screen display. Both the tablet and the Motorola Droid Bionic smartphone will be launched today at the event. Are you excited?

Motorola's website just confirmed that that Tablet they are going to announce in a few minutes is the XOOM The name was spotted on the coming soon page of the website. Looking from the screenshot , it's clear that the tablet is running on Android 3.0 Honeycomb. It is rumored to be running on Verizon'a LTE network Let's wait for the specs for a while

Samsung announces Wi-Fi Only Galaxy Tab for USA

Samsung has confirmed the existence of the WiFi only Galaxy Tab today at CES . This version of the Galaxy Tab will go sale this quarter in USA and will be available without a contract as it lacks 3G connectivity . Specs wise it looks identical to the Galaxy Tab 3G Version except the 3G part. No pricing or exact launch date has been announced but it should be competing with the Apple iPad base model. Google has just shown of the next major version of Android tailor made for Tablets called Honeycomb (Android 3.0 ) in a Video. There was some confusion if HoneyComb was Android 2.4 or 3.0  and now its clear that it's 3.0. iPhone 5 or Verizon iPhone Parts Leaked ?

A company called GlobalDirectParts has shared a video comparing the parts of the iPhone 4 to a unreleased iPhone which they call as the iPhone 5.
