The Best of PCWorld

I've been wrestling with a question: Is it time to buy a netbook? Okay, maybe I should be honest. The real question is, will my wife blow her top if I bring one more mobile device home? Already, there are three personal laptops (hers, my son's, and mine), my work laptop, my Blackberry, plus my brand new and already beloved Droid Incredible phone. So I need to come up with a compelling reason to add a netbook--at least more compelling than my usual excuse, which is that I'm the editor of a tech pub and need to stay informed about the latest advances. So I'm currently poring over Jason Cross's "Laptop vs. Netbook vs. Smartphone" in search of a rationale for one more purchase. Already I've come up with several good reasons to pick up a netbook. Read it yourself and see if you're not tempted by the latest mobile goodies.
